The Bike Shack is for bicyclists only. Inside the bike shack you will find:

 - Simple Green, chain lube and rags

 - notice boards
 - full size refridgerator
 - table and chairs for trip planning and socializing
 - hooks for storing your bicycle
 - there is a microwave for use in the dining room

Amtrack's Downeaster Trains are equipped with bike racks. Bicycles can be transported for just $5 per bike. From the Brunswick station our lodge is just a 17 mile ride. Contact us for a route map.
 
Bicycles: A limited number of spaces are available to transport bicycles on some Downeaster Trains. Bicycles are handled at Brunswick, Portland, and Boston North Station ONLY. Advanced reservations are required, and a $5.00 service charge applies.
