Cheesy Bacon Potato Casserole - Breakfast at Wiscasset Woods

This is popular recipe is similar to the dish I grew up calling “funeral potatoes”. It’s a great way to use up leftover potatoes or you can microwave raw potatoes until almost cooked. Whichever potatoes you choose they should be almost fully cooked or cut into cubes. Note: This dish can be prepped the day before and refrigerated overnight if desired. This recipe was developed as our Christmas morning breakfast. The crepe recipe comes from Fanny Farmer’s cookbook and the cheese filling is adapted from Dana Moos’ The Art of Breakfast cookbook. 2018 Events at the Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Railway

If you love railroads you'll love The WW&F Railway Museum. They are rebuilding the Wiscasset, Waterville, and Farmington (WW&F) Railway and have many opportunities for volunteers to help out. They’ve already restored 2.6 miles of railroad, rebuilt an original WW&F steam locomotive, and restored several railroad cars. The railway was a two-foot “narrow” gauge railroad that operated from 1894 until 1933. The line ran from Wiscasset to Winslow Maine, never making it to either Waterville or
