If you’re looking for the cookie cutter experience of a chain motel – keep on driving. Wiscasset Woods Lodge is one of a kind and from our perspective – hard to beat. There’s not a thing we would change. Affordable accomodations, effective heat and AC, free parking, free wifi, comfortable bed, in room refrigerator, clean units – this has them all but the bonus is what sets this apart…. congenial staff, charming rooms, a trail through the woods loaded with birds, trees, and wildflowers, and BREAKFAST!!!!!!!! The free homecooked breakfast that comes as part of the cost is worthy of a 5* restaurant. We’ll be back next time we’re passing through.

We change our menu every day so if you stay with us for several days or weeks there’s always something new to try.
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay. Wasn’t sure what to expect – one description I read was the rooms are “rustic” which we have found can sometimes mean uncomfortable or not tidy. Our room (second floor) was attractive, comfortable, cozy and exceptionally clean. We, too, loved the delicious, something-new-every-day breakfasts. But, the friendly owners and staff are what is best! Thanks for all of your helpful suggestions and for treating us like family.

We try to have a variety of food so whether you like trying new food or prefer old favorites there’s always something delicous for breakfast.
Thank you for your wonderful hospitality in regards to my stay at Wiscassett Woods this weekend. My room was so modern and clean and perfect and I love that you welcome dogs. Breakfast was so good and thank you for making me the gluten free muffin and offering to make me GF pancakes and French toast too. I look forward to coming back sometime.
