Our hotel is located on Route 1, three miles south of the center of Wiscasset and eight miles north of the center of Bath. We are a 45 minute drive from Portland Jetport and a 25 minute drive from the Amtrak station in Brunswick.

If you’re using Garmin or other navigation apps, plug in our hotel’s name “Wiscasset Woods Lodge” or our old name “Wiscasset Motor Lodge” NOT our address (the address sends people about a mile south).

Portland to Wiscasset Woods Lodge

Wiscasset Woods Lodge is approximately 45 minutes north of Portland and an hour from the Portland Jetport.

The easiest way is reach our hotel is to take US 295 North. You’ll go past Freeport – for anyone interested in visiting LLBean’s main store and outlet store. Take exit #28 through the town of Brunswick, this is where you’ll pick up Route 1 North. Stay on Route 1, when you go over the bridge at Bath you’re 8 miles away from our hotel. We’re on the right side of the road just past the ropes course Monkey C Monkey Do and the Shaw’s grocery store.

Acadia National Park to Wiscasset Woods Lodge

We’re approximately 2 1/2 hours south of Acadia, depending on the traffic. Here’s a list of all the interesting stops between Acadia National Park and our hotel in Wiscasset. There are so many things to see and do it’s easy to make it a full day’s event!

From Acadia take Route 3 to Ellsworth then turn left onto Route 1 South. We’re approximately 2 1/2 hours (depending on traffic) south of Ellsworth on Route 1. You’ll go through the center of Wiscasset and we’re 3 miles further south on the left hand side of the road. Just before you see our hotel you’ll see a fake lighthouse that was once a restaurant and directly across from us is the greenhouse “North of the Border” with all it’s statutes for sale.

Boothbay Harbor to Wiscasset Woods Lodge

We’re approximately 30 minutes from Boothbay Harbor, depending on traffic.

Head north on Route 27, then left onto Route 1. Heading south you’ll go through the center of Wiscasset and we’re 3 miles further south on the left hand side of the road. Just before you see our hotel you’ll see a fake lighthouse that was once a restaurant and directly across from us is the greenhouse “North of the Border” with all it’s statutes for sale.

Augusta to Wiscasset Woods Lodge

We are approximately 40 minutes from Augusta, depending on traffic.

Head south on Route 27. In Wiscasset there’s a stop light where Route 27 meets up with Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 (south), if you turn left you’ll enter into the center of Wiscasset. Drive 3 miles south on Route 1. We’re on the left hand side of the road.
