We make a hot, homemade breakfast for our guests every morning. We serve breakfast on weekdays from 7 am – 9:30 am, and weekends from 7 am – 10 am (April – October 23 only).
We will not be servicing rooms during guest stays unless specifically requested. We will have clean linens and toiletries available at the front desk if needed.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT TIMES
Check in starts at 3:00 pm. If your room is ready earlier we’re happy to check you in early, but we can’t guarantee that rooms will be ready until 3 pm. Our maids need adequate time to sanitize and air out rooms between guests. The office is open until 9 pm between Memorial Day and Labor Day. During the slower months of October – May the office closes at 8 pm.
Late arrivals can be accommodated. We have an after-hour check-in system. As soon as you know you’ll be arriving after 9 pm please contact us for the after hour access code. (207) 882-7137 or Stay@Wiscassetwoods.com
Check-Out is 11 am. Due to extra cleaning needed with Covid, we cannot allow late check-outs this year.
A deposit equal to your first night stay plus tax (9%) will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation. Payment in full is due at check-in. A valid credit card and photo ID must be presented at time of check-in.
If you cancel your reservation at any time there is a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel your reservation less than 5 days before your stay the cancellation fee is equal to the deposit.
Pets are allowed only in designated pet friendly rooms. Pets are also allowed in the lobby but not in the dining room. Guests may have up to 3 pets, there is a $30 fee/pet/day. There are no size or breed restrictions but pets must be well behaved. Pet waste must be picked up immediately. There is a $250 restoration fee if pets are brought into non-pet friendly areas without prior permission. Pets may be left unattended in our pet friendly rooms. Owners are responsible for pet related damage above normal wear and tear.
We have a No Tolerance Policy about smoking any substance in the rooms or on the porches. Cigarette smoke is incredibly difficult to remove from rooms and often forces us to remove the room from circulation for days or weeks and spend hours cleaning and deodorizing it. Smoking is not allowed within 20 feet of any of our buildings. We have picnic tables and Adirondack chairs in the grassy areas throughout the property please feel free to smoke in those locations. We ask that you dispose of your butts in the metal cans located on the grounds rather than in your room.

We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation. Wiscasset Woods Lodge does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site.
We sometimes use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain pages of the Site to measure effectiveness and safety. A “cookie” is a small file that gets placed on your harddrive that helps us provide our services. You are free to decline cookies if you choose too.
At Wiscasset Woods Lodge, we take security seriously. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safe guard it online and offline.
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
