Our Lovely Handicap Accessible Room

My husband and I were able to take a trip to Niagara Falls once we closed for the season. During our trip there and back we were twice placed in a hotel’s handicap accessible rooms. It gave us a chance to compare our handicap accessible room to theirs and I have to say, our handicap accessible room is hands down a nicer room.

Our room has a roll-in shower with a fold down seat. One room we stayed in had a shower with a lip and the other had a tub with lots of grab bars.

Our handicap accessible room has plenty of space between the toilet and shower for transferring either direction.
