We are already starting to see fall colors in Maine. Right now in the Midcoast we’re seeing small pops of color. The Maine Department of Agriculture tracks the colors throughout the state and posts and update every Wednesday. Here’s a link to this week’s update. While the Midcoast is still ranked as “Very Low” sections of Downeast Maine and The Lakes regions are starting to show more color.
Stay with us at Wiscasset Woods Lodge this fall to enjoy the foliage.
Montsweag Flea Market, just down the road from our hotel – is Midcoast Maine’s largest flea market. Stop by on a Saturday or Sunday to hunt for treasures in the regular flea market or try your hands with the professionals on Wednesday mornings which are focused on antiques. Here’s a great video about it from Maine Public and PBS.

The show is open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 pm until May 19th. The gallery is located at 15 Warren St. in Wiscasset.
